You Might Have Seen Your Child
Struggling to focus in oversized classrooms
Dreading boring sessions that feel like extra school
Feeling isolated in one-on-one sessions with no peer interaction
That’s Why We’ve Created a Learning Environment That Truly Supports Students
Our teaching model follows a clear process, beginning with assessment and skill diagnosis, followed by targeted instruction and ongoing progress monitoring. This ensures that learning is measurable, consistent, and aligned with each student’s needs.
Why Choose Phoenix Education Tutoring?
At Phoenix Education, tutoring is not based on passive learning or completing worksheets independently. Our approach is structured and teacher led. Students are explicitly taught how to approach questions, apply concepts, and improve their work over time. Each lesson is designed to be purposeful, with clear instruction, guided practice, and immediate feedback.

Engaging Learning Environment
Our lessons are not silent or scripted. Instead, students are active participants: solving problems, asking questions, and learning through discussion. We use high-quality workbooks and resources aligned with the NSW curriculum, designed to support deep understanding.
Each lesson is focused, structured, and enjoyable, with every student given the opportunity to grow in both skill and confidence.
Small Groups, Big Impact
We keep our class sizes intentionally small. Unlike many other tutoring centres, we prioritise individual attention so that no student is overlooked. This enables our tutors to better understand each child’s learning needs and adapt their approach accordingly.
For families seeking even more focused instruction, we also offer one-on-one tutoring at our centre with highly trained and dedicated teachers. These tutors are not randomly hired; they are carefully selected and supported by our leadership team.
Teachers Who Truly Care
Our teachers don’t just explain the "how"; they teach the "why." This deeper understanding enables students to retain knowledge in the long term and apply it confidently. Every teacher at Phoenix Education has a teaching background and undergoes comprehensive classroom training.
More importantly, they’re passionate about their work and genuinely invested in their students’ progress.
A Culture of Growth and Support
At Phoenix, we create more than just academic success. We create a learning experience where students feel safe, seen, and supported. Our classrooms are nurturing spaces that encourage expression, participation, and independence.
Every student is given the chance to develop their potential in an environment that’s both challenging and uplifting.
Flexible, Student-Centred Approach
We recognise that no two learners are alike. Our tutors adapt their methods to suit the pace, strengths, and goals of the students in front of them. Whether in a small group or 1-on-1, we focus on helping students discover their own learning style and build lasting confidence.
Exceptional Online Lessons Available
Prefer to learn from home? We offer online lessons for selected year levels, combining convenience with the same trusted approach we use in person. These small group sessions follow a clear curriculum, offer real-time interaction, and provide the same level of teacher support, helping students stay on track wherever they are.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you offer holiday programs?
Yes. We run a range of structured holiday programs including Selective preparation, Opportunity Class preparation, writing workshops, HSC trial exam preparation, and subject-based intensive courses designed to give students a head start for the following term.
How is student progress monitored?
Student progress is monitored through ongoing class observation, weekly quizzes (for primary students), and term assessments (for high school students). Results are uploaded online for parents to review.
Parents are also welcome to speak directly with teachers for feedback.
Do you provide homework?
Yes. Homework is provided to reinforce concepts taught in class and strengthen retention through repetition and practice.
Do you follow the NSW curriculum?
Yes. All programs align with the NSW syllabus and school assessment expectations.
Do you offer a free trial lesson?
Yes. We offer a complimentary trial lesson for group classes.
During the trial, teachers assess the student’s strengths and areas for improvement while parents have the opportunity to observe whether the class environment is the right fit.
How long is each enrolment period?
Our programs run in line with the NSW school term calendar. The minimum enrolment period is one full term (approximately 10 weeks).

• Kindy to Year 4: 1 hour per subject
• Year 5 to Year 9: 1.5 hours per subject
