FAQs

Do you offer holiday programs?

Yes. We run a range of structured holiday programs including Selective preparation, Opportunity Class preparation, writing workshops, HSC trial exam preparation, and subject-based intensive courses designed to give students a head start for the following term.

How is student progress monitored?

Student progress is monitored through ongoing class observation, weekly quizzes (for primary students), and term assessments (for high school students). Results are uploaded online for parents to review.

Parents are also welcome to speak directly with teachers for feedback.

Do you provide homework?

Yes. Homework is provided to reinforce concepts taught in class and strengthen retention through repetition and practice.

Do you follow the NSW curriculum?

Yes. All programs align with the NSW syllabus and school assessment expectations.

Do you offer a free trial lesson?

Yes. We offer a complimentary trial lesson for group classes.

During the trial, teachers assess the student’s strengths and areas for improvement while parents have the opportunity to observe whether the class environment is the right fit.

How long is each enrolment period?

Our programs run in line with the NSW school term calendar. The minimum enrolment period is one full term (approximately 10 weeks).

We require a full term commitment because meaningful academic progress takes time. This allows us to properly assess, teach, and monitor improvement.

Can students bring their schoolwork to tutoring?

Yes. Students are encouraged to bring homework, assessment tasks, and questions from school. Tutors integrate this into lessons while maintaining structured skill development.

Do you offer one-on-one tutoring?

Yes. We offer both small group lessons and one-on-one tutoring. Families can choose the format that best suits their child’s learning needs.

How many students are in each class?

Small group classes are capped at a maximum of six students. This ensures individual attention, structured teaching, and meaningful feedback.

How long are tutoring lessons?

Lesson duration depends on year level to ensure students receive age-appropriate instruction and focus time.

• Kindy to Year 4: 1 hour per subject
• Year 5 to Year 9: 1.5 hours per subject
• Year 10 to Year 12: 2 hours per subject

Classes run once per week, with additional sessions available where needed.
